Hmm, interesting whether you get tides or currents seems to depend on what
city name you enter.  Enter www.tides.info, type in San Francisco and tell
me if you get tides, I get currents!

There are three search options on that site.

The first one gives you the tide or current predictions for the first
place in the database that matches your entry.

The second option gives you a list of database entries that match, and
allows you to choose which of them to display. The "show" button is
labelled "Show tides for ->", but will show tides or currents, as
appropriate for the selected location.

It happens that the first listing for "San Francisco" is  "San
Francisco Bay Entrance (Golden Gate), California Current", so option 1
shows the current tables.  You need to use option 2 to select one of
the three (or more) tide stations.

Ahoy, Listees!!

It's storage time for many here in the northeast, but many Listees are
headed south for the winter season, and other Listees boat the year 'round,
or at least most of it, in their home location.  Ever wonder just how many
fellow Listees you pass each day, in harbor or along the ICW?  Resolve this
burning issue with a high quality, reasonably priced, and stylish Trawler
World List Burgee!

As I've pointed out before, and you list veterans are well aware, this will
be the best and easiest point-zero-two-seven boat units you'll ever spend!
The price for the TWL Burgee is just $27 each, including shipping and
handling.

For the benefit of new Listees, or for those who may have forgotten, I will
reprise some burgee information in the interest of comsumer awareness.

These burgees are of very high quality and steadfast colors.  The size is
nominally 12" x 18", but in actuality they come out a little larger.  I've
had mine since '99 (I think) with no noticeable fading or wear, but I'm in
New England, where the season is short and the sunshine non-aggressive.  The
heavyweight denier nylon will stand up to a great deal of wear and abuse.
Edges are hemmed and triple stitched.  Header is a doubled nylon canvas type
fabric, with multiple stitching and brass grommets.  The design is NOT
printed, but is actually pieced and stitched onto the burgee body.  All the
pieces are cut on computer driven laser cutters, yielding consistent
dimensioning and precise edging.

Ordering your fine and new Burgee is easy.  To order, send payment of $27
for each Burgee ordered.  Acceptable payment methods are check (on a US
bank), money order, and now, PayPal.

Note:

  1. Payments made through PayPal.com can be made easily with a credit card
if you wish, or with cash or a check through your own PayPal account.  See
PayPal.com for details.  PayPal payments can be made in US or Canadian
dollars, pounds sterling, euros, or yen.  Make the Paypal payment to my
    email address -- john.gaquin@verizon.net

  2. Payments made directly to me by mail must be by check or money order,
and must be in US dollars.  I am not able to accept credit cards or non-US
funds on payments made directly to me through the mail.

Additional pointer:  The burgee price is $23, plus $4 s&h, for a total of
US$27.  This price applies only to burgees sent to North American addresses.
Mailing cost to other destinations will be determined as necessary.

Make the check or money order payable to me personally, John Gaquin.  To pay
with PayPal, go to www.paypal.com and follow instructions to make payment to
my email address    john.gaquin@verizon.net    .

Send your order and check / m.o. to:

All of this is pretty well explained on the Trawlerworld webpage at
http://www.trawlerworld.com/burgee.htm  ,  except the PayPal part, which
hasn't been posted there yet.

Dawdle not!  Act with haste, and you can be proudly flying your Burgee in
short order!  Just do it!

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to email me.

Smiling Regards,
