I bought one of these kits after years of fooling with the feeble hammer and die sets from the boating store. After you use this tool you will love working on canvas and will actyally hunt for loose or missing snaps on your existing canvas. (I did...) The unit is similar to a giant vise grip with interchangable dies for different types of snaps and grommets.
