This three stateroom, three head Hatteras was manufactured in New Bern and
is one of about three dozen of this particular style Hatteras built between
1981 and 1994. The rare and original Detroit 671 Naturals (most had turbos)
now have just over 3K hours on them. They are in great condition and
include new heat exchangers.  On one trip south, we ran about 180 hours on
1000 gallons of diesel at trawler speed.  The boat is very economical and
is cruise equipped with newer Wesmar Stabilizers, a full compliment of
instruments (radar, chart plotter, auto pilot, two depth sounders, AIS,
VHF, separate GPS and Satellite radio). Radar, Depth sounder and radio are
redundant at the optional lower helm. She has a near new Northern Lights
generator and Magnum 2800 inverter/charger tied to a house bank of 6 Deka
batteries.  Starting batteries include one 8D for each engine.  There is a
separate Charles charger for the starting batteries.  She has a newer Kuuma
hot water heater, four AC units and Vacuflush heads and a washer dryer
combo.  On the roof of the rear sundeck there is a Nautical Structures
davit to lift the 2009 Achilles hard bottom inflatable which is propelled
by 9.9 Mercury two stroke.

The flying bridge is large and comfortable. The rear sundeck is huge with
seating for seven on a settee and four side chairs.  The original Hatteras
hi/lo table and four seats is still in good condition and is the
centerpiece of the sundeck.  The wet bar is fitted with a newer U-line
refrigerator/icemaker.  There is a Magma propane grill with a fiberglass
locker for the gas container.  The galley and dinette counters have been
replaced with Corian and the interior has been kept pretty much original
except for replacing the soft goods with designer assistance. The master
stateroom mattress has been replaced with a new custom unit. There are
three flat screen TVs on board.

Snails Pace is currently birthed on the eastern shore of Maryland in Rock
Hall just north of the Bay Bridge. She has not been listed with a broker
and we are not planning to do so just yet.  As you can gather, lots of work
has been done on her since we bought her back in 2009.  She was already in
excellent condition at that time and the originality of the boat was and is
still unmolested.  If you would like to know more, see some photos, please
email me at jimlaudermilch@gmail.com, or call my cell number 717-576-1817.
This is a lot of boat for the 150K asking price.
