Jonas, Don't know who told you that Corian is not good on boats, but I can tell you that we replaced the sink and Formica counter top in the galley, plus the sinks and vanity tops in two heads with Corian on our boat in 2004, and they worked beautifully, and had absolutely no problems with any of them.
