Total observation time: 8 hours
Official Counter: Tom Bolohan

Visitors:
Note that the 2nd day of the Hawk Cliff Open House runs again tomorrow
(Sunday). Displays / shows are put on at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm,
Weather:
More of the same today but even hotter with a high of 28C and feeling like
33C. Winds were light from the ENE then backing to the E and finally to the
SE at the end of the count period. A small bit of cloud in the morning
fading to very little cloud in the midday and building back in a bit late
in the day.
Raptor Observations:
Well winds were a bit better today for direction and there was at least a
bit of a flight. Total raptors for the count period were 226. Most were
again Sharpies (149) and Am Kestrels (45). There was a small number of
Broadwings (12) and N. Harriers (13) with a few Osprey (3). Counters also
had Merlin (4) and a lone Peregrine.
Non-raptor Observations:
None were reported today.
Predictions:
Winds are forecast (again) to be SE for the day Sunday and a bit stronger.
We'll likely see a very similar flight to today.
