We swear by it. A phone is always with us and we can pull up all sorts of information when no one has a chart plotter or paper in possession.
Also, when we dinghy to town and are detained for some reason after dark or after the tide goes out we can find a safe way back to the boat.

Limitations? We can’t figure out how to add comments to Active Captain. And it’s a really small screen.

We can’t imagine being without it.
