Tickets ON SALE August 3 for

Broadway Center's 2009-10 Season

Tacoma, WA- All events included in the Broadway Center's 2009-10 Season will go on sale to the general public beginning Monday, August 3, 2009 at 11 a.m.  Tickets may be purchased by phone at 253.591.5894, online at www.broadwaycenter.org http://www.broadwaycenter.org/  or in person at the Broadway Center Box Office is located outside the Pantages Theater at 901 Broadway.

The 2009-10 Season will open officially on Thursday, October 8, 2009 with a world-class performance from the Northwest favorite, Pink Martini.  Also know as the "little orchestra" with a colossal sound, Pink Martini appeals to audiences of all ages with their eclectic splash of word music featuring songs from all origins including Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese and Croatian.

The 26th Broadway Center Season features a variety of genres promising extraordinary experiences.  The season offers entertainment beginning October 2009 through June 2010, from musical acts Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt, Gaelic Storm, Seattle Men's and Women's Chorus and Ladysmith Black Mambazo to famous voices such as Ira Glass and Smothers Brothers, to ballet and hip-hop with Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble and Soul Street Dance Co.

Broadway Center memberships and ticket packages of four or more events are on sale now.  Advance ticket packages will also include one parking pass per show, when purchasing four or more events on or before July 26, 2009.  General public tickets are available for purchase beginning August 3, 2009.  Broadway Center Member's receive access to the best seats, special receptions and other great benefits and savings.
