Join us this *Saturday, 10/15* from 2-4 p.m. for a poetry writing workshop exploring *Poetry of Witness*. We will look at how poets throughout history have used their work to document, challenge, and engage with politics, power, and solidarity with peoples' movements. We will also, of course, write some poems of our own and have time to share. Bring poems written beforehand, too, if you wish to share. It's free and we'll have some afternoon snacks. Though the workshops are generally geared towards teens, we encourage participants of all ages to share our space on 10/15, and look forward to a thoughtful intergenerational discussion.
