This is the Speedaire pancake compressor I bought for the same usage and
I've really been impressed with the performance. I wore out an impact hammer, a
die grinder, and broke the shank on my needle scaler with it when doing the
rust work on Entropy. It was recommended by the maintenance man at work who
has the same unit for portability reasons. It stows well and still delivers 5.5
CFM at 90 psi which is the recommended pressure for the needle scaler while
delivering plenty of flow. I was able to catch it on sale and use my company
discount so I ended up getting it for under 300 a couple of years ago and
it's still going strong. I'm VERY satisfied with the product. My old slip
neighbor, the bartender, hated it on early workdays.....but that is another story...
