on the edge of a path.  The Brown Thrasher continues.

Nighthawks hunting over marsh.

and 5 LINCOLN'S SPARROW.

09/24/13 - Harwinton yard -- 5:15 as the sun was setting; male
Bay-breasted Warbler with a Cape May Warbler in the Red cedar tree.

09/23/13 - Groton, Bluff Point -- a spectacular morning. 51 species,
of an estimated 7500 birds, with roughly 7200 warblers.  3 Tennessee
Warblers, 1 Bay-breasted Warbler, 7 Blackburnian Warblers (getting
late). We also saw a Lincoln's Sparrow, a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
Birds were streaming through at 6:45 AM at 5-10 birds a second. Our
estimate is probably quite low...

tracks) 1 YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT among a nice variety of warblers. Also,
1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW.

YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER attending a sap well, 2 BLACK VULTURE soaring
over the yard.

Peregrine Falcons. Also on the move: 2 NORTHERN SHOVELERS (flybys); 1
COMMON NIGHTHAWK; 50 BOBOLINKS; 1 RUSTY BLACKBIRD; 2 PURPLE FINCHES.
Up to 3 or 4 Common Ravens made a couple visits.
