Leonard, Some tank baffles don' t extend to the top and bottom, some do. The Baffles in the fiberglass tanks on my former boat had the baffle corners cut out and extended from top to the bottom. The main tanks in our 2010 Nordhavn also have only a single service inspection port but it's a big opening and easy to climb into. I can stand up in the side tanks and my head is still only a couple of feet above the tank top.
