For those birders looking for Ruffed Grouse, here are a couple of
possibilities at White Memorial Foundation:

  1. Laurel Hill Trail, off E. Shore Rd., opposite Marsh Pt., in Morris.
Grouse tracks were seen in the snow at the top of the hill 2 weeks ago by
    another staff member.

  2. Apple Hill Trail, off E. Shore Rd., opposite #140, in Morris. A Grouse
was flushed by one of our volunteers last week as she proceeded into the
woods from the junction of the trails that go the top of the hill and to Cat
    Swamp.

Sorry about not posting these reports sooner.
