Dear CollectionSpace Community, The CollectionSpace Leadership Working Group elected in June 2016 has initiated a quarterly meeting schedule. We met for the first time in September and held our second meeting in November. Going forward, as Chair of the CollectionSpace Leadership Working Group, I will update the membership on topics and decisions after each quarterly meeting. In these two meetings we discussed a variety of topics including: * Overall financial sustainability, with a focus on improving our membership outreach efforts at both the individual institution and consortial level * Pending mini grant proposals - look for announcements on exciting projects funded soon * Collateral updates - we are working to update our handouts and website to enable members and working group members to more effectively spread the word about CollectionSpace in their communities * Outreach efforts including an upcoming presentation at the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) in December. We were very pleased to have our session, "Collaborations to Improve Collections Management and Access with CollectionSpace" accepted. We are looking to you as members to work with us in two ways. One -we are seeking two additional members to join the Leadership Working Group.
