I just updated the web site with the last changes I made to my rigging. I
now consider this a perfect rig. I lower the booms in calm water on the way
out, but keep the birds in their shoes until I need them. I launch and
retrieve them single handed and the launch takes about 30 seconds per side.
Everything works very well and is a finished project except for a more
professional shock absorber / noise damper. You can find the description
