10/01/13 - Southbury, Audubon Center at Bent of the River --
Connecticut Warbler hanging out by the snake barn, just south of the
main red barn.

From Frank Mantlik with Sunrise Birding Walk:
10/01/13 - Milford, Silver Sands State Park -- immature LITTLE BLUE
HERON, Lincoln's Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, Eastern Meadowlark
(first of season).

10/01/13 - Stratford, Long Beach -- Nelson's Sparrow.

From Tina Green:
10/01/13 - Westport, Sherwood Island State Park -- 2 immature
White-crowned Sparrows seen feeding along the road that parallels the
East Beach.

10/01/13 - Harwinton yard -- 5:45 to 6:20 PM; 1 PHILADELPHIA VIREO, at
least 5 BAY-BREASTED WARBLER, at least 4 CAP-MAY WARBLER, 3 TENNESSEE
WARBLER seen, 6 BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER.  (The full account of this on

10/01/13 - Norwalk, Yard -- 6:25 PM; at least a dozen COMMON
NIGHTHAWKS passing.  I probably just caught the end of this.
