Thank you to everyone who responded.  Adam is taking the Virginia Rail to Weston Wildlife in Crisis. I’m hoping for a good outcome! Please visit Lights Out CT to find out more about lights and bird windows strikes and the effect on bird migration as well as how to help:

The Virginia Rail found earlier today by Jo, a window strike, was dropped off at the bird rehab Wildlife in Crisis, in Weston. A preliminary look revealed that it was a male and had no signs of a fracture. So a good candidate for rehab and release.
