King Eider Revisited

I was just wondering if that King Eider is still at hammo. If so, has it turned into its new plumage yet? If anyone has recent reports of the eider and what it looks like, I would be very interested in the info.

I'd be interested also and there must be others out there who would as well.
Please respond to the list.

A quick search of my saved emails shows that Gina Nichol had the eider
at the end of the moraine trail on Sept 9th.

I walked all the way out that trail on Thursday 10/1 and did not see
the bird despite keeping an eye out for it.

So, with th information I have gathered, it seems that the King Eider at Hammo is not there anymore. The last sighting was on September 9th, and  Nick Bonomo said he did not see it on 10/1. However, I still would advise any birders that live in that area to make a trip to Hammo and double check for the eider. If it still there, the plumage could be rewarding.
