I just returned to the upper Chesapeake from southern NC. The prices of diesel were consistently around $4/gal, except at Belhaven. I wanted to fill up but River Forest was out of diesel and wound up going to Dowry Creek. Would you believe it was $4.45/gal! So be careful, put off refueling until you at least reach the Alligator Creek Marina, at $3.99/gal. John Yankee Belle

I have just posted on the WWG website diesel prices for several locations on the Chesapeake. Lowest prices are on the southern bay. Northern prices close to $5.00/gal.
