The GIWW south of I10 in Mobile Bay, Perdido Bay and Mississippi Sound was closed to pleasure boats on Friday 17 September to allow for waterway cleanup and prevent looting. The waterway is again open to pleasure craft according to the Marine Resources Division of the Mobile County Enforcement Department. I will post a listing of marinas from Mobile Bay to Panama City tomorrow indicating which marinas are open and which have diesel fuel, gas and transient space.
