Hi there,

I borrowed a 3dconnexion SpaceMouse Wireless from a friend. Now I'm
looking for help to configure it for the use with OpenSCAD. I have
OpenSCAD-2019.01-RC2 installed. What comes next?

Regards

Stefan

What operating system?
For Windows you need to Edit/Preferences/Axis-tab click HIDAPI.
Make sure the 3DConnexions drivers are stopped or not loaded, restart
OpenSCAD.
Play around with the Axis Mapping & Buttons preferences.
It works, but may still need some fine tuning.

For Linux (and other info) see  here
https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/OpenSCAD_User_Manual/WIP/Inputdriver  .

Admin - email* me if you need anything, or if I've done something stupid...

  • click on my MichaelAtOz label, there is a link to email me.

The TPP is no simple “trade agreement.”  Fight it! http://www.ourfairdeal.org/  time is running out!
