Hello, I can confirm that the automated installer does fail out when trying to install on an Ubuntu 16.04 client. You MUST use Ubuntu 18.04 Linux, either Desktop or Server, with all repositories enabled and updated BEFORE attempting to install. Also, please do be sure to have a static IPv4 address set on the target client system before you begin installation.
