Hello all,

This morning I unsuccessfully searched for Prairie Warbler at the
Curry Tract where one has been observed in recent years by others.  I
did however observe a singing Mourning Warbler and Yellow-throated
Vireo amongst a variety of other forest and shrub land species.  Most
abundant among them was American Redstart.

The Curry Tract (Halton Regional Forest) can be accessed from the east
side of Guelph Line north of Campbellville.  There is a small parking
lot located at 9475 Guelph Line, directly across the road from Mohawk
horse racing.

Regards,

Robert Maciver
