Pierce College Puyallup Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition, Squatter, by artist Linda Davidson The exhibit, which opens on October 7th and runs to December 5th, features a series of paintings, titled Squatter. These paintings come from Linda’s decision in 2021 to take her painting practice outside. In a remote section of Thurston Creek, Linda has recorded seasonal and ecological changes over the past three years through these works. Davidson earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work has been exhibited at numerous galleries and museums, most recently at the Museum of Northwest Art and G. Gibson Gallery. Meet the artist and enjoy refreshments at the opening reception, on October 10th from 3:00 – 5:00 at the Pierce College Gallery located in the Arts and Allied Health (AAH) building on the Puyallup campus.
