From Steve Spector, 9 March 14, this late afternoon (around 4:30 PM) the
gulls starting massing in a long line near Point Lookout (Welches Point) in
Milford in the annual surface feeding on barnacle larvae/plankton festival.
They have been doing so for the past week, but now the numbers are greatly
increased with at least 1500 gulls visible from my vantage point. This
phenomenon should also be observable in Stratford and the other usual
places.
