The e-mail below is from Bob Millstein, owner of Pentimento, who raced as a guest from  Shattemuc with us on Sundays and Wednesdays.

I thought it might be nice to share his thoughts with everybody in the Fleet, especially the sadness we share at the end of the sailing year.

Congrats on your well deserved finish. You are a gifted racer and get the most out of your boat.

I admire your Club and their effort to get everyone off the veranda and onto the water. I thank you personally and the Club for letting me race with you. I have learned so much, and still have a ways to go racing frequently with you.

I removed the mast and pulled the boat yesterday with great sadness putting an end to a great season. I wanted to check the rigging etc. as I have never pulled the "stick" in quite a few years of ownership. I am compiling a list of projects for our crew over the winter.

Once again, thanks.

Bob
