Still there this morning. Adult and juvenile were in separate snags, but both easily seen from the road.

Hi Everyone -

It has been discussed on one of the GroupMe groups that the Mississippi Kite is considered a rare and sensitive breeding species here in Connecticut.  Their continued success depends on the survival of their offspring, and we don't want to endanger the young bird.  If you go to see these birds, please minimize your time on-site and keep a respectful distance so as not to disturb them.

Also bear in mind that this is a private residential area, so be aware that your presence may be puzzling or concerning to the human residents.

Let's be good ambassadors of the birding community - for both the birds' sake and respect for the non-birding public as well!

Thank you all.
