04/21/14 - Westport, Smith Richardson Tree Farm -- 2 pair of Brown
Thrashers.

04/21/14 - East Hartford -- Peregrine Falcon flying East along I-84
just past the Bulkeley Bridge at 10:50 AM.

04/21/14 - Old Lyme, Griswold Pt -- 2PECTORAL SANDPIPERS.

04/21/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 9 AM to noon; had a
LITTLE BLUE HERON flyover the West beach parking lot, then was later
seen in the marsh to the left of the main park Rd. The male
BOAT-TAILED GRACKLE was singing in the trees at the entrance to Cedar
Point.

04/21/14 - Lyme -- A friend of mine (not a birder strictly speaking
but a keen and observant individual) mentioned seeing a female Orchard
Oriole in her Lyme yard this past weekend. I mentioned it might well
have been in an immature male.

04/21/14 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point Park -- 2 Boat-tailed
Grackles (male and female) near entry guard house.

Snipe, 8 Boat-tailed Grackles.
Litchfield, White Memorial Foundation, Little Pond -- Virginia Rail
heard where the boardwalk makes a 90 degree turn, 2 Common Raven.
Goshen, Hageman Shean Rd -- Ruffed Grouse, first heard moving in the
dry vegetation close to the road and then observed moving through the
underbrush for ten minutes.

19 Yellow-crowned Night-Herons.
