can do a straight divider, but then, the number of divide ratios is limited,
because fast dividers tend to be powers of two, or, at best, small integers.
Generally true, but Centellax has a divider than can divide by any
number between 8 and 511 inclusive at up to 15 GHz, if you can afford
about fifty bucks.
