Hi Michael,
That's easy to remember when you're sitting at your desk, with soft music on
the stereo, and a comforting mug of coffee beside you. But try it with the
engine screaming, smoking, and stinking, and the crew hollering and jumping
overboard.
Seriously, it would be a good idea to practice an engine emergency shutdown
drill, just so's it comes to mind when needed, sort of like a fire drill.
