I did some birding in nw CT today (10 June), visiting
Kent (3 CERULEAN WARBLERS, River Rd), Cornwall,
Sharon, Canaan, etc- mainly in hopes of locating a
Sandhill Crane, several of which were reported in the
region in May.  Unsuccessful in that regard, though I
did see 4 different BLACK VULTURES, as follows:
1 - over New Milford High School on Rt.7
1 - over Rt. 4, Sharon near Ellsworth Hill Farm
1- over River Rd., Cornwall
1- over Rt 8, Derby exit 15, near Home Depot

The species sure has expanded throughout the state!
