I carry a radar reflector that I can put on top of the radar arch if in heavy weather. However my trawler shows up fairly well without it--there is an Alumium roof on the Flying Bridge, as well as a R V airconditioner on top of that Al roof. The large profile trawler hull also shows much better than a sailboat hull. I have a 500,000 CP search light which covers forward well. I have two 50,000 deck lights on the Radar arch which illuminate the aft deck, swim step and items to the rear.
