Marine Trader Window Frames

Greetings all,
I have an old Marine Trader Europa from 1986. As with all older boats
it needs some maintenance, and now I have to do something with the teak
window frames. Does anybody of you know how they were treaded from the
beginning? And do you have a good suggestion how to treat them and
example of products to use?

Look in the archive for good advice in removing /repairing. Actually not
that big a job if you don't break the frames on removal.
As to refinishing, consider sealing and painting to reduce the annual
maintenance load.
My experience is that amazingly, the biggest danger to windows is the small
amount of dirt that accumulates in the smallest crevices. This feeds very
small insects and over freeze/thaw conditions allows the dirt to slowly
detach even the best adhesives.
