ALL DAYTIME EVENTS (10am-4pm) at NO COST TO THE PUBLIC The Festival will feature 6 hours a day of seminars and workshops on THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY, along with a variety of musical performances from some of the area's local artists and experts. SUNDAY morning and afternoon will feature a "Inspirational Choir Competition". MONDAY will feature a Variety Show featuring some of the areas finest and talented individuals. ALL EVENING EVENTS (7pm-11pm) TICKETS ARE REQUIRED. The premiere evening events will feature: "THROWBACK Thursday" Evening VIP Reception (GREEN), is INVITATION ONLY, providing supporters with a special showcasing of the festival line-up and more. "FAMILY REUNION Friday" (RED) will feature an ALL GIRL House Band, and we will be interviewing and highlighting some of the areas BLACK talent and we will roll-out the actual "Making of the BWIMF Video". "BLACK BROADWAY" (BLACK) presents "SATURDAY-NITE" at the "SHUGAsugarSHACK". A FORMAL GALA Evening Dinner Theatre and Showcase, featuring an "ALL BLACK ORCHESTRA", and "Through The Eyes of A BLACK Colored GIRL", An Original One Woman Play with MUSIC, Written, Produced & Starring "Tena DuBerry". Audition Dates are scheduled for: 1st Round of Auditions on May 16, 2015; 2nd Round May 23, 2015 and 3rd Round and FINAL Round of AUDITIONS on May 30, 2015. Rehearsals are scheduled for JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST. We will notify you before this time and give you additional information on the three audition stages and processes.
