as you know we are now a non-profit organization. with that comes a need to have more fundraising events. what we have had in the past is kind of a half hearted effort when we are looking for volunteers for our events. it is these events that keep our dues low. 

moving forward we will needed much greater participation from the club for these events. so the new direction of the club will be to require at least 1 volunteer event per active player next season. we are still working out the details but if we do not have enough people volunteering for a given event, we will begin assigning duties and times. if you were assigned an event to work and cannot make it due to a personal conflict you must find somebody else to replace your shift or contact MJ for help on finding a replacement.  Angus will be running point on this for the club.
