Hi All

Why are these combo units so expensive. I have been quoted between $2300 up
to $3250 as an option on a new US boat? The Splendide seems to be the
standard offer. Is it in fact splendid?

I have no info on comparative quality, but it looks like you are
being quoted a greatly inflated price. The Splendide Combo vented
unit retails for under one BU stateside. Figure another couple of
hundred for parts and installation...

Sorry about that. I try to avoid jargon. A 'BU' is one thousand
dollars. Most stuff for boats seems to be priced in multiples thereof.
