I agree. I don't thing Georgs is trying to limit the length of posts, just
the mindless and automatic quoting of an entire lengthy original post. Take
a few seconds to quote ONLY the part you are referring to. The idea is to
remind people of the topic, not make them reread the entire novel.
Even though I have a fast connection, long quotes make messages needlessly
cumbersome to manage.
OTOH, bring on the three page posts, CaptnWil. We're ready!

discriptions and reports of tests, etc. They're highly educational and
frequently useful, personally.
I don't appreciate receiving those same great messages multiple times
(possibly with large attachments) just because someone wants to say "job
well done" or add an important point, but doesn't feel like taking the
2-3 seconds to "snip" away the unnecessary material.
