Larry,
I too have been using the Groco polyethylene baskets for years because they don't have dissimilar metal/corrosion problems. They've been almost entirely satisfactory. I say "almost" because the strap across the top on one basket broke off, but it was easy to substitute a cable tie in its place so the basket can be easily removed.
Go for it!

I have to replace one of my Groco 1" strainer baskets. When I went
on line I noticed that Groco makes and sells a replacement basket made
out of polyethylene in addition to stainless steel. The polyethylene
is about 30% cheaper.
Does any one have comments or experience with the the polyethylene?
