Hello Art Lovers, I have two openings in the drawing class that begins tomorrow eveing, Oct. 7th in my Gig Harbor studio. I’m a painter in the classical realist tradition, as you can see by my website at www. Janicewagner.com. You’ll also see some other styles I’ve played with over the years. So here’s the scoop: Dates: 8 sessions; Tuesdays, Oct 7 to Dec. 2 (no class Nov 18) Time: 6:30 – 8:00pm Fee: $200 Class size: 6 The class will take place at my home studio, which is in the Cromwell area in Gig Harbor, about fifteen minutes from the Narrow’s bridge. I believe that everyone has what it takes to learn to draw. I am offering this class for the many people who are drawn to drawing but have rarely tried their hand, AND for those who would like to boost their existing skills. By the end of the class I hope that you will know how to create the illusion of 3-D forms on a 2-D surface. You’ll become familiar with artistic lingo like value, texture & pattern, proportion, and perspective, and have the drawings to prove it. Whether your aim is abstract or realistic, drawing from life or your imagination, I can show you techniques for creating dynamic drawings.
