Hi gang
Today at lunch we were discussing various aspects of the MVUS picnic. I
mentioned that the airport will be closed at that time, so it wouldn't
be a good idea to try to fly here. WELL..... while we were having
lunch the airport authority was having a meeting with the contractor
that will be doing the work, and the contractor advised that they will
not be able to start the project until at least September 20th so that
will not affect anyone flying in after all. I don't know any more
specifics, but at least we'll be open, and I won't have to relocate my
airplane yet.
So, "come on in!"

Seems to me that Daun's back yard is big enough for landings,
so who needs the airport anyway? You could land and taxi right
up to the house (caveat: don't park anywhere near the grill).

Seems to me that Daun's back yard is big enough for landings,
so who needs the airport anyway? You could land and taxi right
up to the house (caveat: don't park anywhere near the grill).

Wheel brakes would probably not be enough for the Lear at Yeagley Field.
I suggest landing it wheels up as an alternative.

be a good idea to try to fly here. WELL..... while we were having
lunch the airport authority was having a meeting with the contractor
that will be doing the work, and the contractor advised that they will
not be able to start the project until at least September 20th so that
will not affect anyone flying in after all. I don't know any more
specifics, but at least we'll be open, and I won't have to relocate my
airplane yet.
So, "come on in!"

Daun, we're not talking about Clinton County- this is about Yeagley field,
located immediately adjacent to Clinton County.
