5:30pm Daynard Drive Canton Whilst weeding my new Meadow garden, I heard a baby raptor calling. Thinking it was hawk fledgling time, and having had Red tails nest in the woods before, I assumed it was that. But then I realized the sounds were coming from my Barred Owl box. I hid behind my greenhouse and kept quiet, binoculars focused on the owl box. We already had a clutch of two this year. Those fledged in May, as they have done in the past. I'm not sure how many are in there. But I think they will fledge soon. Do we think this is the same owl? Or this box is just being used very well? Lisa Coggins Daynard Drive Canton
