Keep the AC/heat--you may well want the AC.
The isolated Diesel heaters are not really effecient in cold weather in a boat
that size--if you really want diesel heat go with a circulating hot water
system. I would not want a dickenson stove in the tropics.
Many long distance crusing boats use propane stoves. How well does your wife
like the glass cook tops? We had one and didn't like it. We do have a diesel
two burner glass cook top in the C Dory--and it is OK, but you do have to
clean it very regularly. If your wife likes to bake, be sure and have at
least one good oven. My wife does not like the combo convection microwave--but
some do.
