From Dave Tripp:
08/25/14 - Canton -- 6:50 PM; over 200 Common Nighthawks working the
Farmington River skies near Rts 44 & 202.

From Bo Hopkins:
08/25/14 - Greenwich -- 45 minutes of non-stop Common Nighthawks over
my central Greenwich home.  High and low altitude.  Hundreds of
individuals seen (hawking activity made it impossible to continue any
reliable count) plus hundreds more sightings as many returned back
into view.  A very impressive display!

From Beverly Propen:
08/25/14 - Guilford, Leetes islande Marsh -- 9:40 AM; Wilson's
Phalarope in marsh right off Route 146.

From Brendan Murtha:
08/25/14 - Guilford, Leete's Island Road, Shell Beach Marsh -- 2:20
PM; Wilson's Phalarope continues.  Fabulous looks as he feeds mere
feet from the roadside.

From Maria Stockmal:
08/25/14 - Guilford, Leete's Island Road, Shell Beach Marsh -- 4 PM;
Wilson's Phalarope.

From Robert  and Linda Dixon:
08/25/14 - Guilford, Leete's Marsh, viewed from Rt 146 -- 5:30 to 6:20
PM; WILSON'S PHALAROPE continues.

From Ryan MacLean:
08/25/14 - Greenwich, Audubon Greenwich -- one Olive-sided Flycatcher
actively flying to and from the snags ontop of the two tall cedars
infront of Quaker Ridge Hawk Watch.

From Ray Belding:
08/25/14 - Litchfield, Cemetary Pond -- Glossy Ibis continues.  1
Stilt Sandpiper observed for ten minutes before it took flight and
wasn't seen again.

From Chris Loscalzo:
08/25/14 - Westbrook, Menunketesuck Flats -- at low tide, 5:30 PM; two
ROYAL TERNS.  They flew over the flats, giving their guttural "kerr"
calls intermittently, landed briefly on a sandbar, then flew out
towards the south end of Menunketsuck Island to feed.

From Gina Nichol with Steve Bird:
08/25/14 - West Haven, Sandy Point -- 5 to 7 PM; Yellow-crowned
Night-Heron.
