The case for using a professional weather router for a yacht like
ours is strong: Bob has access to far more information from his
office ashore with full Internet capabilities than I do at sea with a
very thin e-mail connection, and as a professional meteorologist he
knows far better than I how to interpret the information he receives.
I asked Bob Jones of Ocean Marine Nav about his services. Below is
his response.

Captain Georgs, thank you for your interest in our services.
Our contact information is as follows.
Ocean Marine Nav. Inc
Tel: 1-866-505-6664
Fax: 908-548-0880
Email: mailto:Ocmarnav@aol.comOcmarnav@aol.com, Ocmarnav@verizon.net
Skype User name: Ocmarnav
Our pricing is pretty basic;
$80.00 per advisory + comm costs for hard copy (email/fax and verbals).
$40.00 per advisory + comm costs for verbal only consultations.
An advisory day means the day we provide a forecast and not the days
the forecast covers. There are no minimums, no contract requirements.
You use us when you need us.
Unlike some other services that are afraid to forecast beyond 3-4
days, we will do a detailed forecast for transits beginning in 2-3
weeks.
If you would like any additional information, please let me know.
B/Rgds, Bob/OMNI
