Had these same 10 birds flyover my house just a few minutes later...they made their presence known as they flew over fairly low with plenty of calls.   What an awesome sight!  Thought they might of landed near Samp Mortar Lake or the Mill River, but looked and did not relocate.

We had 10 sandhill cranes flyover Black Rock turnpike today about 1:15pm.  This was at the intersection of Stillson and Black Rock Turnpike over Wild Birds Unlimited.  They were quite vocal and heading northwest.
