Dear Talklist Subscribers,

My name is Ming Tsai. We are a recent implementer of Collectionspace for
our family art and science foundation (tsaifoundation.org). We have some
60-70% of our inventory in Cspace and would like to broaden our use of
Cspace to include the planning of exhibits.

While attempting to do this, we realized that Cspace currently only has
draft schemas for transport and insurance/indemnity (shared with us by
Megan Forbes). These would be very important for budgeting & planning for
exhibits.

Now, in an attempt to make these schema a core part of Collectionspace
v5.0, we have recently applied for a Cspace mini-grant to develop these
schemas with a developer. For those of you who also see the potential of
both the transport and the insurance/indemnity schemas for your work with
Collectionspace, this is the perfect time for you to review the current
drafts and see if you have any suggestions/additions to them.

Attached are the relevant draft schemas. We already have a list of aspects
that we think would be important additions, which I will insert below my
signature.

We very much look forward to your inputs! And, if the grant is awarded, we
will start on finalizing the content of these schemas in early December
(continuing to iterate via the talklist).

Thanks in advance for your participation.

With very best wishes,
Ming Tsai

Dear Talklist Subscribers,

Happy New Year to All!

This is Ming Tsai again. Good news--we have been awarded the mini-grant to
develop (with a developer) the Transport and Insurance/Indemnity schemas
for Cspace v5.0!
So these schemas are definitely going to be developed!

By early February we would like to have the content of the schemas
finalized.

Please provide us with any input on what you/your organization would like
to have in these schemas! Ideally before the end of January.

Below, you will see my earlier post along with our initial suggestions.
Attached are also the original draft schemas shared by Megan Forbes.

Thanks for your upcoming inputs!

With best wishes,
Ming Tsai
