To George  et al; I have used Notice to Mariners to update my paper charts. Only updating the important and pertinent changes. Before going on an extended cruise I check into the N of M on the web (from home) and hope that there are no major changes while underway. I check in again at the next port of call. I do not carry on board the electronics to do that on the open water.
