The Auburn Makerspace is an art, design, and DIY facility in the City of Auburn Community and Events Center that offers services to all members of the Auburn and regional community! We have a laser cutter/engraver, 2 3D printers, and other digital design machines at your disposal. Read below to see what exciting new things we're up to! ​ I have to say, I'm SUPER EXCITED about May's Young Inventors Club! We're building our own ARCADE GAMES, laser-cutting customized cabinets, wiring the electronics, AND programming the games ourselves! Rich Bankhead from SeattleU's Makerspace (@seattleu_makerspace_ece on instagram!) will be co-teaching as an electronics expert. Remember, YIC is a special program for 10-15 year olds from Auburn or elsewhere, that takes place Saturday mornings. Each Wednesday evening we offer low-cost equipment orientations during Open Make, so there's always an opportunity to learn coming up! Every first Wednesday is an Open House, where anyone can visit with us and see what the Makerspace is all about!
