Yesterday December 14 around noon I found a nice Lincoln's Sparrow in the marsh bordering the campgrounds at Wheatley Provincial Park. The bird was directly behind campsites 218 and 219. There were loads of sparrows to pish up, which is how I got the Lincoln's. Hopefully it will be tallied by someone on the Pelee CBC today. Wheatley Provincial Park is located just east of the town of Wheatley in Chatham-Kent, and is easily accessed from old Highway Number 3, now the Talbot Trail. Follow the signs and turn south on Klondyke Road. Park at the office outside the gate and walk in. You'll have to walk a few kms to reach the campgrounds. Sites 218 and 219 are at the far end of the loop.
