Jordan Series Drogue. This is a heavy-duty Jordan drogue which I purchased
for a voyage to Belize that unfortunately will never take place. The drogue
consists of a number of small cones woven into a tapered line with a small
weight at the end. The Jordan Series Drogue was designed after exhaustive
engineering analysis and testing in tanks as well the ocean. The series
drogue has been at sea for over 15 years. At least 1,000 are in use all over
the world. The drogue has been deployed through many storms including
several hurricanes. No boat has ever been damaged and no crew injured. A

through large galvanized thimbles which provides flexibility in use. The
drogue is attached by a two-part bridle which attaches to the port and
starboard stern cleats.
