Get a bucket, a paint stir stick and some books with which to build a
staircase.

Put enough water in the bucket to be above the mouse's head, build a
staircase beside the bucket that stops exactly at the same level as the rim of
the bucket. Place the paint stir stick were it forms a plank over the water.
Finally place a small piece of cheese or PB on the end over the water. The
mouse  will walk the plank to get the food and then fall into the water.
Drowned  mouse.

Besides  using traps, another method to rid your boat of rodents which works
is to  use the Raid bug bombs which smoke.  They work by placing the  smoke
unit into a tiny bit of water in the bottom of the supplied plastic  cup.

Place several in a forty-foot boat, and I can pretty much  guarantee you the
rodents will evacuate and the bugs will die.  No  rodent carcasses to deal
with.
